Monday, April 16: We took the metro and the express train to the airport. Our flight back to Frankfurt was uneventful,
and we caught the shuttle back to our car and drove to Wiedenest. Regina has a small but very beautiful upstairs flat in the town while we stayed in the missionary apartments at Wiedenest Forum, the bible school that Gary’s grandfather had led about a hundred years ago. We had coffee with Regina (coffee being the equivalent of a British tea) and then went to our rooms in the Bibel Schule--we had the missions apartment, 3 rooms--double bed (in Germany is two single beds put together) with a small kitchen and bathroom in front, then a sitting room with table, couch, and desk, and another bedroom with 2 single beds, a sofa which would work as a bedroom, and a desk as well as a sink. After we settled in we walked back to Regina’s on the trail for supper which was tuna with apple and pineapple. We walked back on the road.
